This is it, the last day of the Fringe. The 25th, and final, performance of Shit Socialist.
I can’t say that this hit me particularly in the morning, as I still had my normal routine to go through. It’s hard to get emotional when you still have to face a good couple of hours of flyering. Continue reading

My alarm went off at 10.15am this morning. Looking at my phone for the first time, I saw that I had a missed call from Sally.
I rang her back and she said “are you up?” Continue reading

Today was the last of my midweek shows. From tomorrow we move in to the territory of the final weekend.
It’s been a strange few days in one way, as I’ve had a lot less contact with people. For over two weeks I was sharing a house with the ComedySportz guys, and that meant constant company, including going to shows with people. Continue reading

I awoke in the new digs after a decent lie in, and enjoyed a shower in my own personal bathroom. Very different to the rest of the Fringe when I was sharing one with up to 11 people at a time. Continue reading

I didn’t manage a diary yesterday because I was too busy packing to move out of my accommodation.
No, I’m not giving up on the Fringe just yet. I have been in a flat share with my chums from ComedySportz, the improv troupe I’m part of. Continue reading

I have had four days in a row of having full rooms, but today the numbers dropped down again.
Whilst the weather was decent enough, you could just feel that the numbers of people around in general were lower than the last few days. Continue reading

The good vibes continued today. Decent weather, lovely show, all going well.
I was slightly worried with it being a Tuesday that numbers may drop off. But the weather was very good again. Like yesterday, generally sunny without being too hot, and a nice breeze. Continue reading
